Rob Paull

Co-Founder & CEO

Mahana is the sixth company Rob has successfully co-founded. As a fierce advocate of GI treatment innovations, his passion for Mahana stems from a deeply personal experience. Previously, Rob spent time as a healthcare venture capital investor, advisor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and member of Motorola’s Research Visionary Board. His other passions include film production and honing his nascent animation skills.

Simon has over ten years of experience building world-class, mission-driven software products at scale in regulated industries. Prior to Mahana, Simon was an engineering leader at Credit Karma where he helped launch new product verticals and was a technical lead for the Hangouts project at Google. When not engineering he enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and playing with his two Goldendoodles.

Before Mahana she was a product leader at Intercom and Airbnb where she worked on organizational scaling through hypergrowth and helped launch new products. Before Airbnb, Ann founded NabeWise, a neighborhood discovery platform, which she sold to Airbnb in 2012. Outside of work, Ann enjoys trail running, winemaking, and playing with her two bouncy Jack Russell terriers.

Along the way she led submission efforts for marketing applications, resulting in global approvals for two products. Taryn’s passionate about leading startups and building cross-functional development teams, as well as collecting vinyl records.

She is a former faculty member of Harvard Medical School and was Director of the CBT & Behavioral Medicine Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

She came to us having guided many healthcare companies from inception to commercialization, including HealthTell, Auxogyn, Verinata Health, and ForteBio. She’s also co-founded a couple of computer peripheral startups of her own.

Jeremy Gilbert

Acting Chief Strategy Officer

Jeremy Gilbert is the former Chief Product and Technology Officer at Pear Therapeutics, where he oversaw invention and development of the world’s first Prescription Digital Therapeutics. Prior to joining Pear, he served as Head of Product and Strategy at PatientsLikeMe, overseeing commercial and consumer product development and innovation. He has also served as an engagement manager in McKinsey & Company’s healthcare practice, and was a founder of Springboard Informatics. A true entrepreneur by nature, Jeremy has founded a series of technology startups. Jeremy received an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School, and his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University.
